Commoditizing Storage with Gluster File System (GlusterFS)

Z RESEARCH was established in 2005 with a vision to commoditize the storage market using GlusterFS cluster filesystem, open standards and commodity hardware. Z RESEARCH is funded by successful silicon valley entrepreneurs.

Z RESEARCH's team has been at the forefront of "Clustering" and has pioneered many technologies that are currently being used at Fortune 2000 companies and National Laboratories. Z RESEARCH's team formed the core of the team that deployed the World's second fastest supercomputer code named "Thunder" in June 2004 at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Z RESEARCH is head-quartered in Fremont, California and has an R&D center in Bangalore, India.

Z RESEARCH's products find broad applicability across the number of verticals such as Internet and Web 2.0, CDN, Digital Archiving, High Performance Storage and Virtualization.
